About Us

Dr. Vickers earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1995. With special interests in ocular disease and dry eyes, Dr. Vickers is trained to provide the most advanced optometric care possible. In 2007, he earned Fellowship status with the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Vickers also presents a special passion for optometry, having grown up with a  great-grandfather who was blind. “He never knew what I looked like as a child. Growing up with that experience gave me some direction in my career choice”.  Dr. Vickers enjoys fishing and wood working and just being outside in the beautiful northwoods.

Dr. Bennett joined our team in June 2024.  She has over 8 years of experience caring for our military and government personnel through Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda Maryland.  She has adds her expertise in specialty contact lenses to Vickers Eye Care and but welcomes all patients regardless of their eyecare needs.
